Why We Should Only Use Biodegradable Products

Posted on April 8, 2017 in Uncategorized

BIO DEGRADATION
Biodegradation is the chemical breakdown of materials. The term is often used in relation to ecology, waste management and environmental remediation. Organic material can be degraded aerobically with oxygen, or anaerobically, without oxygen. As on date the most reliable strategy is biodegradation by eco-friendly microbes, which is generally accepted as an environmentally sound and economically feasible protocol for the treatment of hazardous waste and effluents. Microbes are the tribute for clean environment.
Methods of measuring bio degradation

Bio degradation can be measured in a number of ways. The activity of aerobic microbes can be measured by the amount of oxygen they consume or the amount of carbon dioxide they produce. It can be measured by anaerobic microbes and the amount of methane or alloy that they may be able to produce. In formal scientific literature, the process is termed bio-remediation. The key player in bioremediation are microorganisms that live virtually everywhere. they are ideally suited to the task of contaminant destruction because they possess enzymes that allow them to ase environmental contaminants as food and because they are so small that they are able to contact contaminants easily. Bioremediation can be regarded as an extension of the purpose that microorganisms have served in nature for billions of years: the breakdown of complex human, animal, and plant wastes so that life can continue from one generation to the next. Without the activity of microorganisms, the earth would literally be buried in wastes, and the nutrients necessary for the continuation of life would be locked up in detritus. They are not bio degradation standards. Both were developed for hydro-biodegradable polymers where the mechanism including bio degradation is based on reaction with water and state that in order for a production to be compost-able

WHY BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS?

By far the largest proportion of single use plastics such as those used in disposable packaging end their lives in landfills or, unfortunately, as litter. Conventional plastics can persist unchanged for many years in such environments. plastics cause accumulation of litter. Bio degradable products are one whose end products are carbon dioxide, water and biomass. Extensive studies and tests have been conducted by laboratories and institutions to confirm that they do not leave harmful or toxic residues to the environment, thus causing less ill effects or negligible ill effects on environment and also to mankind & living beings on Earth.

Biodegradable matter is generally organic material such as plant and animal matter and other substances originating from living organisms, or artificial materials that are similar enough to plant and animal matter to be put to use by microorganisms.

Interest in the microbial biodegradation of pollutants has intensified in recent years as humanity strives to find sustainable ways to cleanup contaminated environments and should be on large-scale.
Thus to save environment and to save our health from getting affected we shall use only bio degradable products and save our forthcoming generationSUMMARY
Today what we use in household cleaning is chemical based products on large-scale, affecting our health and environment with some side effects or directly, making our mankind to think on this is very important as after some years our own forthcoming generation will be facing lot of problems with what we are doing using huge amount of chemicals today. We have got an alternative for electric power as solar power, likewise we have got alternative of biodegradable solutions over chemical based solutions. Today if we don’t switch towards the alternative then it will be too late for the same time, money & health all will be at the stake for survival of humankind. What is recommended today is to get literate over bio degradation and applications to be innovated for the alternatives to be used for forthcoming future.

Green Products in Our Day to Day Life

Posted on April 5, 2017 in Uncategorized

Many people are concerned about the environment and the future generations and due to this apprehension they feel the need for green products. There is some effort involved in locating green products. Green products are environmental friendly as they do not cause any damage to the environment at the time of their production. But, we have to appreciate the green products and their production to have a correct balance of thinking.

When an organization claim that their products are free from environment damages, it does not mean that they are totally free from any damage to the environment. They only try to impress that the products are not going to cause any permanent damage. In other words, their assurances are that their actions to produce such a product do not have any lasting effect to the future generations. But the fact remains that most of the environmentally safe products claimed, cause some sort of damage at the time of production with varying degree. This may be at the time of transporting the products from the factory to the warehouses. Or it might have defaced the land they have acquired for the purpose of making the plant, buildings, installing of machineries, and allied materials.

The creating of infra structural facilities for the production is an inevitable requirement. Certain amount of damage does occur. But what we have to insist is to understand as to what the after effect is. After effect does not just mean for the consumers only, but to the environment when the product and its accessories are disposed off. We have to see the products after use whether they biologically degrade or disintegrate into separate entity or not. The bio degradable products break themselves and form a part of the earth itself.

The capability of the products to breed itself and get into the earth due to biological process as its own part is the property of bio degradation. These properties are for the sustain-ability of the environment. These products are much easier for their disposal. There are certain green products which make other products safe in our own home and children. The creation of such secondary products which are safe within our home is the counter point against certain products which are chemical oriented but are essential for healthy living.

The example for this act is the chlorine content in our drinking water. The chlorine is an essential product for purifying the drinking water but it also has the properties of skin irritation. So removing the chlorine content after its purifying act by the green products will help to enjoy your bath and the original taste of water. There are many products which are friendly to the environment, shampoos and tooth pastes based on organic compounds also the recycled paper products. What we have to do is to make a little alteration in your thinking when you visit the grocery stores. This alteration of thinking will indeed make a difference to the environment to the positive effect. If the demand of the green products go up the production will go up, more production means more availability and this will in turn help environment to be healthy.

Skin Care and Organic Products

‘Organic skin care products’ refers to natural products. Did you know that some of the products branded as originating directly from nature are not? They are only colored and perfumed to seem that way. There are however truly organic products which are cost effective. In most cases the organic skin care products would fetch a higher price and therefore are not affordable to many. Others also argue that they may result in the degradation of the environment.

There are several advantages of using the organic skin care products. The most obvious is the fact that these products will resonate well with natural and living things such as the cells and the micro flora on the skin.

Did you know that on your skin there are millions of bacteria? Nothing to worry about! They are actually good for your health. They however become dangerous when the body’s immune system is compromised or some of the skin care products that have been used tamper with the skin’s natural balance. These micro floras play a role in protecting the skin by preventing the growth of more dangerous bacteria or fungi. The advantage of using organic skin care products is that they preserve the micro flora.Secondly, they are bio-degradable and therefore do not pollute the planet. They are broken down into smaller molecules which return carbon to the energy cycle of the planet.

The organic products that have been used to make these skin care products have been grown naturally without the overuse of pesticides. This helps to preserve the environment and avoid depletion of ozone layer. The products are often made from herbs or tree fruits and flowers, making them the most environmentally friendly products.

By using organic skin care products you limit the exposure that the skin already has had to various chemicals. This reduces stress and helps to prevent wrinkles, ensuring that the skin performs well in the disposal of waste. This in turn relieves the liver and kidneys from stress, leading to a longer and higher quality life and preventing diseases such as eczema. These products can be made or prepared at home, possibly even promoting the opportunity of job openings, the ingredients being easily grown at home. You are also able to buy some of the products from other countries and mix them to provide an exotic product made from organic substances. However, the use of animal products must be done with precaution – they may lead to allergic reactions and harm the skin.

Some of the byproducts of the organic substances are able to form a substrate for another organism. This means that the entire cycle of the use of the products is complete and leaves no dangerous products in the environment. Therefore buy organic and save the environment.
